Applying Mascara
Whether you are looking for the full-on glamour look
or want to be subtly gorgeous, a little mascara will bring out the beauty of
your eyes and long lashes.
Mascara should be brushed from the root to the tip of the lash in a single stroke.
This is important as each lash will end up completely covered and give the lashes
a finished look.
It helps to twirl the brush when applying mascara to it.
This allows the brush to carry more mascara and ensure complete application.
To prevent lashes from globbing, alway brush from the root of the lash towards the tip.

Eye Moisturiser
As well as skin moisturisers, there are other
moisturisers made specifically for the eyes.
The skin around the eyes is thinnner and more sensitive than elsewhere on the body
For this reason, eye moisturisers have different ingredients from other lotions and creams.
Caffeine can be added to treat puffiness, or vitamin K to reduce dark circles arround the eye.
Similarly, they may contain light diffusers and silicone derivatives to plump up and reduce the appearance of crow's feet.

Eye Shadow
Eye shadow make-up is applied to your eyelids to
help show off your eyes. This involves a few easy steps:
- Dust the eyelids with a small amount of loose powder to prime the eyes.
- Using a light base shadow and a shadow brush, sweep across the lid from the brow to the lash line.
- Use a medium-coloured shade to cover the lower lids.
- Using a dark shade with a small eye shadow brush, contour the crease of the eyelid.
- With an eye shadow brush blend the shadow by stroking the lid gently.
- Tone down any heavy shadow with a cosmetic puff, shake off any excess powder, then press the puff gently on the lid.
